A note for you

You are not too much.

No matter what anyone has said or how anyone has treated you:

YOU MATTER

Your needs matter.

Your feelings matter.

Your experiences matter.

The fact that you're still here says a lot about the part of you that wants to believe it.

My approach starts by believing you matter

—even if you can't yet.

Together, we'll gently build steadiness at your pace, and in ways that feel comfortable for you.

What guides our work

My work is grounded in consent, collaboration, and deep respect for your pace.

We focus on steadiness first, honor your “no”, and adapt the work to your needs.

When everything feels too much

HI, I'M DEVAN (THEY/THEM).

If your thoughts, feelings, and memories cause you to spiral

—and today feels impossible—you're not broken. It makes sense you feel that way. You've been doing a lot to survive.

Maybe you've spent years performing to meet everyone's expectations, trying to earn love and acceptance. Maybe people have treated you as "too much," "too loud," or "too sensitive." Maybe you have never felt safe enough to be your real self.

That's why we slow way down here.

We make gentle space so you can breathe.

We'll try tiny, do-able things that help you feel steadier, so what matters to you (not the intensity of thoughts and feelings) gets to lead.

I'll offer options, you set the pace, and we listen to the parts that push back.

Between sessions, if a tiny practice helps, great. If it doesn't, no judgment. That's just information we'll use to adjust the plan so it fits your needs.

If you're wanting care that protects your choice and pace, I'd love to meet you.

When trying hasn't helped

Content note: mentions self-harm and substance use.

Maybe you're exhausted by the enormity of what you're carrying and everything you've tried hasn't helped.

You've tried the usual things:

  • years of therapy

  • books

  • podcasts

You've also done what you needed to get through:

  • self-harm

  • substance use

  • sex for connection

  • avoiding reminders

  • blow-ups or shutdowns

Or maybe it's none of that and instead you went quiet and disappeared inside.

No matter what:

You’re not broken.

You adapted.

and

You're still here.

There is another way—one that honors who you are and centers what feels safe.

We'll start small and build steadiness that fits your life.

IN PRACTICE

In session

your pace, always.

  • We pause, slow, or stop anytime—no explanation required

  • You always know the whys and whats next in our plans

  • First focus is developing daily steadiness through use of parts work, DBT skills, values identification, and practical tools

  • When you and I agree you are ready, we can process trauma with EMDR

Between sessions (optional)

only what helps, nothing that shames.

  • Tiny, doable practices (1-3 minutes) to help in hard moments

  • No disappointment or judgment if you didn't practice. We'll explore if you want to continue trying to incorporate practice, and if so explore ways to make it more accessible

  • Check-ins if you want or need them

Over time

more steadiness, less activation.

  • Fewer spirals, easier returns to baselines

  • Clear boundaries with yourself and others

  • Past memories stops carrying emotional weight; your values feel easier to follow; not haunted by negative thoughts about self
