How I Work
My approach is collaborative, paced, and consent-led. Nothing is forced, rushed, or done without your agreement. You set the pace, the focus, and the depth — and we adjust together as we go.
I pay close attention to the nervous system and to what your body is communicating, not just what makes sense cognitively. We build steadiness first, because safety is not something you push through — it’s something you experience.
I work from the belief that you already make sense. Your reactions, coping strategies, and patterns developed for a reason. Therapy is not about fixing you or correcting your responses, but about understanding them with curiosity and care.
What Therapy With Me Is (and Isn’t)
Therapy with me is:
• Collaborative rather than directive
• Curious rather than judgmental
• Focused on safety and steadiness before depth
• Centered on understanding, not performance
Therapy with me isn’t:
• About pushing through overwhelm
• About labeling emotions as “too much”
• About prioritizing productivity over regulation
I work slowly and intentionally, making sure you feel resourced and supported before any trauma processing is considered. This work does not involve pushing, flooding, or reliving experiences before your system is ready.
